The Bowler of the Week is broken up into the following divisions:

Bantams
6 - 8 Years Old
Preps
9 - 11 Years Old
Juniors
12 - 14 Years Old
Seniors
15 - 22 Years Old
Bumpers can not qualify for BOW because they are not sanctioned bowlers.
After League Bowling each Saturday, all scores are reviewed by Division/Age to find the highest scratch (no handicap) series for both Boys and Girls.
Bowlers are not submitted for BOW more than once, so if the bowler with the highest series has already qualified for BOW, then the next highest series is used.
To become the Bowler of the Week, the series for the Boys and Girls from for each Division are compared against the bowlers from Pleasant Valley, Holiday Bowl, Splinters, Bedford Elks, Huntsman Lanes (Martinsburg), and of course, the Bavarian Hall. The highest series wins.
All bowlers that make BOW, qualify to bowl in the Bowler of the Year Tournament at the end of the bowling season.
